Abbott and Holder

Abbott and Holder was established in 1936 and has been in its current location near the British Museum since 1984. The company specialises in British works of art from the Eighteenth to Twentieth Centuries. We publish a monthly ‘List’ introducing 100 new works to our stock and host regular exhibitions. We also show at The British Art Fair, the London Original Print Fair, The BADA Art and Antiques Fair Rutland and Master Drawings New York.

Tom Edwards joined Abbott and Holder in 2003. He became a Director in 2012 and since 2021 has been sole owner and Managing Director. He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Arts Scholars, a Council Member of the British Antiques Dealers Association and a Trustee of the Fine Arts Provident Institution.
